Meet the Educator

Meet the EducatorHi, I’m Sergio — the educator behind Dino Discovery Day.For more than a decade, I’ve worked with children in New York City schools, early-childhood programs, and enrichment settings. As a New York State-certified childhood and special education teacher, I’ve seen how strongly children respond when learning includes movement, humor, sensory exploration, and hands-on discovery. That experience inspired me to combine education with my interest in 3D-printing technology. Through Dino Discovery Day, children can hold detailed fossil replicas, examine textures and shapes, investigate clues, and experience STEM in a way that feels immediate, exciting, and memorable.Dino Discovery Day draws on years of experience supporting a wide range of learners. Every program is designed with thoughtful structure, clear pacing, active participation, sensory supports, and multiple ways for children to engage—including multilingual learners and children with disabilities. My goal is simple:Make science memorable. Make learning joyful. Give every child a chance to wonder.Credentials
